AwardsCMS, our flagship product, is part of the nonprofitCMS family of products. Located just two blocks from the White House, nonprofitCMS is a web development company offering a complete suite of software services to associations and membership based organizations. As local DC web developers, we specialize in the challenges faced by the 25,000+ nonprofit associations in the area.
Tim Spell graduated from The George Washington University in 2006 with Computer Science and Finance degrees. He co-founded nonprofitCMS in 2007 with a fellow classmate at George Washington, Kunal Johar. Tim’s main responsibilities involve customer initial setup, configuration and training of the awards software. In his free time, Tim is also a competitive rower and competes at high level regattas across the country with Potomac Boat Club in Washington DC. Tim can be found each morning at 5:30AM with his team.
Kunal Johar graduated from The George Washington University in 2006 with Computer Science and Information Security degrees. Before co-founding nonprofitCMS, Kunal worked for the US Department of Defense as a Computer Scientist, acting as the agency lead for ensuring compliance of the Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002. In addition to nonprofitCMS, Kunal spends his time at GW teaching various classes in computer science where he also serves on the external advisory board.
Zack Schwartz is a Software Engineer for nonproftCMS where he has designed and implemented a wide range of custom software solutions since joining the company in 2011. With years of experience, Zack is constantly looking for new ways to add to and improve the software. He is also a graduate of The George Washington University.
Sarah Kim is the Project Manager of nonprofitCMS. Since 2011, Sarah has developed project timelines, constantly seeking innovative ways to keep projects on time, on budget, and within scope. In addition to acting as a liaison between clients and developers, Sarah helps to develop wireframes and conduct training on content management. She is a graduate of Duke University.
Tim Herchenroeder has been the Associate Director of awardsCMS since 2012. He helps to establish a dialogue with senior executives, project managers, and technology staff at organizations such as trade associations, non-profits, and private businesses. Tim is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
Marc Clinedinst is an account strategist and implementation specialist. Marc specializes in training development and on-going customer support. Marc is a champion of the nonprofitCMS product line. Marc graduated from William and Mary with accolades and embarked on a career focused on software implementation and support.
Amy Jadraque has been with nonprofitCMS since 2009 as a Support Assistant. Amy works with the team to assist on numerous projects. She is skilled in all things technological, and has the ability to juggle various tasks at once.
Matt Spell is the marketing coordinator at awardsCMS and helps write blog content and marketing collateral. He hails from Loyola University New Orleans.
Jackson Cabarrubias is a web master for nonprofitCMS. He helps with theme development and skinning of our client systems and sites.
